Four-year-old raped for four months in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, Jan 12 (IANS): A 65-year-old man was on Tuesday arrested for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl child for the last four months in Ghaziabad, police said.

The incident came to light only on Tuesday when the child complained about the man to her mother.

Police said the child's parents used to leave her at a baby-sitting facility.

After the child complained, the parents took her to a police station, where after medical examination, rape was confirmed.

Police arrested the accused, who is the father-in-law of the woman who runs the baby-sitting facility.

A criminal case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, said Superintendent of Police (City) Ajay Pal.

    Such sick people existed long ago hundreds or thousands of years ago.

    However now we or most of us know of them because of the electronic media.

    Will things improve? NO, we pay dearly for the progress that we see around us and of which we are a part.

    In the name of progress there was this child who had to do without her mother and hence needed to be kept with a baby-sitter.

    As we progress technologically and financially there is a lot more evil that we all will be exposed to.

    God save us all.

    time has come to eliminate the wild creatures living in between civitized society. These culprits are worse than animals. with out wasting any time, this man should be shot dead and no court proceedings should be allowed to him nor to his family. Whole family should be blacklisted for this wild and deadly act by the culprit. If not people will take law and order in their own hand and will do the needful. Kill him.

    It is so sad to hear every time elder men misuse or rape small Girls or Baby .Icant understand as a elder one should have more common sense .Poor Girl cant imagine how much she suffered.why did the Babysitter didnt make out or where she was is a question.How in future we can trust one ?He and as well Baby sitter too should be taken to Task for not taking care.Do Girls in North small or big have no future?
