Mangalore, Sep 4: Teacher’s day celebration, organized by the Catholic Sabha Suratkal unit, was held in Sacred Heart Church, Suratkal, near here on Sunday September 2.
Fr J B D’Souza, parish priest, Sacred Heart Church, spoke on the occasion and felicitated teachers who are presently working and those who have retired.
Cyprian Monteiro, BEO, Moodbidri, was the chief guest. George Ligoury D’Souza, president, welcomed the gathering. Jerome Pinto compered the programme.
Peter Paul D’Souza, vice-president, parish council, was present on the occasion.
