Karkala, Sep 4: Several burglars have been taken into custody at Bajagoli as the police has recovered a sum of Rs.22,22,000, six cars, 101 kg of sandalwood, two bundles of aluminum wires and weapons, here on Monday, September 3.

According to the police the arrested have been identified as Hanif (31), Mohommad Sadik (23) both wanted by the police in 10 cases which have been registered against them and they said to be involved in Inter-State burglary cases too. Anand (Vikas) (29) from Shimoga who was involved in burglaries in Chikmaglur and Shimoga. Kadoori Chandra, and other four have been presented before the court, informed the police.

Police said according to the information given by the arrested they nabbed the culprit Majid from Kammaradi, Venkatesh from Hariharapur, Ramesh form Belagola were arrested at Shringeri on Monday. In this case a total of nine have bees arrested including Siddaraju from Arasikere and Mohommad Asif from Kapu.

A Qualis from Hassan, a Maruti Omni from Mudigere, a bike form Manipal,  sandalwood from Hosangar, several Honda City and Innova Cars from other parts of the State,.two bundles of aluminium wires and weapons have been seized from the burglars arrested at Bajagoli.

    What is the use of catching them? They will be released after 10-15 days and they start their business again. Just watch and see what will happen...Whoever come to bail them they are also behind these..
