Businessman held in Jaipur for kidnap, assault

Jaipur, Jan 8 (IANS): A businessman has been arrested here on charges of kidnapping and assaulting a French woman, police said on Friday.

"We arrested Aditya Agarwal on charges of kidnapping, wrongful confinement and voluntarily causing hurt after a French national visiting India on a business visa lodged a first information report on Thursday evening," a police official told IANS here.

The accused was to be presented in a court here later in the day.
