Mangalore, Aug 31:
Auditorium of Pompeii PU College, Kinnigoli, near here, with a seating capacity of nearly 1000 persons, was inaugurated on Thursday August 30.

Fr Charles Noronha, correspondent of the College, blessed the auditorium and K M Uthiah, principal of the College inaugurated the same.

Fr Charles Noronha, correspondent, K M Uthiah, principal, Fr Robert Pinto, assistant parish priest of Kirem Church, and Valerian R Sequeira, president of Old Student Association were present on the dais.

Welcoming the gathering, Uthiah briefly introduced the need of the auditorium and thanked all the donors.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Charles Noronha urged the students and the staff to make use of this auditorium for cultural programmes and other activities.

He honoured Vincent Rodrigues, the contractor of the auditorium.
  
A prayer sing was sung by the students to invoke blessings. B Sitaram Bhat compered the programme. Chandu K, lecturer of PU College proposed the vote of thanks.
