Omar wishes Sayeed speedy recovery


New Delhi, Dec 31 (IANS): Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday wished ailing Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed speedy recovery.

"Sorry to hear about Mufti Sahib's continued ill health," Omar tweeted.

"Pray to Almighty for his speedy and complete recovery," he said.

Sayeed, 79, was admitted to the intensive care unit of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on December 24 with a chest infection.

He has been making steady recovery, official statements said.
