Mumbai, Aug 29: The city is now home for the "Omkara" actress. "All my friends in Kolkata have moved out. I'm now stationed in Mumbai but am living in a rented place.

"The thought of buying a new place is daunting. But that isn't stopping me from doing what I want...It could be partying or joining a protest against the arrest of some artist by a radical party."

She has had to dance with the nimble-footed Madhuri in "Aaja Nachle", and then sing and dance to two songs in another film.

"And I'm terrified! I did a little bit of lip-sync singing for Rituparno Ghosh's 'Sunglass'. But in 'Laga Chunri Mein Daag', I have two full songs."

The world is speaking of her spontaneity, as though she wasn't conscious of the camera. "I'm very much conscious of the camera. But I'm comfortable with it unless I'm doing something out of the ordinary like kissing or abusing...Then I've to make a special effort."

Tell her that good friend Ranveer Shorey has shaped up into a watchable actor and she brightens up.

"Ranveer is supposed to be really good in 'Mithiya'...He's also with me in 'Aaja Nachle' along with Irrfan Khan, Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak, Raghuvir Yadav, Kunal Kapoor, Yashpal Sharma, Akhilendra Mishra and Sushmita Mukherjee ...Everyone is so superbly cast.

"I'm crazy about my director Anil Mehta...as a human being and director. He never loses his cool."
