Kundapur, Aug 29: Catholic Educational Board of Basruru celebrated its diamond jubilee in R C Higher Primary School of Basruru here recently.
Fr Xavier Pinto of Basruru Church, joint secretary and the convener of the school inaugurated the programme.
Speaking on the occasion he appreciated the discipline adopted, the service rendered, the style of functioning and above all the sense of patriotism of Catholic educational schools.
Ram Mogaveera, Kundapur block officer of education and Sr Edna B S, the retired teacher were the chief guests of the occasion.
Leena D’Souza, the headmistress of the School welcomed the gathering. Vasanth, the teacher compered the programme and Rohini proposed the vote of thanks.
