Mumbai, Aug 28: Going by the initial response, trade analysts say Sajid Nadiadwala's Heyy Babyy is a sure-fire blockbuster. Starring Akshay Kumar, Reteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan and Vidya Balan, debutante director Sajid Khan's film has taken an unprecedented opening at the box-office.

Manoj Desai, proprietor of Gaiety Galaxy, says: "The opening is bumper. It is 100 per cent houseful till Tuesday. And considering that the capacity of Gaiety is 1,000 seats, it is an indication that the film is well-received by both the balcony, as well as the stall audience."

Trade analyst Amod Mehra feels that only if the huge opening continues will Heyy Babyy become a big hit. "It is a very well made film," he adds.

The combination of comedy and marketing did the magic, feels Geerish Wankede, head, PR and Corporate Communications, Cinemax. "The collections are very encouraging. Everyone seems to be very happy after watching the film. Well executed comedies work big time, and add to that, the film had a great buzz. The collection is expected to be huge since Tuesday is Raksha Bandhan," he avers.

Noted trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh sums it up: "I just loved the film, it's an entertainer, and the film appeals to all segments of the audience. It's on its way to become a huge hit."
