Mangalore, Aug 27: Miscreants have broken into the house of one Yamuna in Somappa Poojari compound in Kanta Rao Lane here on earlier during the week and have decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 20,000.
A late complaint filed by the owner with the Barke police on August 25 states that she had been out on work around 8-30 am. By the time she returned by 11-30 am, the house was found broken into.
The police are following up the case.
