Mangalore, Aug 26: The workshop on Anti Women Domestic Violence Act – 2006 was inaugurated at DySP Guest House Community Building, by H M Bharathesh, chief judge of District and Munsif Court and president of District Legal Services Authority, on Sunday Aug 26. It was presided over by Monappa Bhandary, President, Bar Association Mangalore.
Maheshwar Rao, Deputy Commissioner, Satish Kumar, DySP, Cheyyabba Beary. Deputy Director of Prosecutors office, were the chief guests present.
D S Shindhe, judge of 3rd additional district court, K P Purushottam Poojary, eminent advocates, Asha Nayak, Radha Rao were the resources, emphasized the effectiveness of Act at the existing society.
