Mangalore / Bangalore, Aug 26: K B Madhav Rao Kodavoor, a veteran of Moogooru classical Bharatha Natyam artiste has bagged the coveted Shanthala Natya award, for the year 2006-07, for his distinguished service in the dance sphere.
The award will be presented by minister of Kannada and Culture, Madhav Prasad, during the conferring of award ceremony which will be held at Mysore Kala Mandir, on Monday Aug 27. The function will be presided over by Mysore district-in-charge minister, D T Jaya Kumar.
