Harassed girl's tweet to railway ministry lands man in jail

Patna, Dec 19 (IANS): A girl, who was harassed on a running train, tweeted to the railway ministry for help following which the accused was arrested, a railway police official said here on Saturday.

The girl was travelling in Shramjeevi Express from New Delhi to Patna. "Finding her alone, the accused started misbehaving and passed objectionable comments," the official said.

After the girl tweeted, the railway police was directed to help her immediately after which the accused was arrested and sent to jail for harassment, the official added.

Overwhelmed by the timely help, the girl thanked Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and his ministry.

The modi govt has already got the bill passed in lower house, where BJP is in majority, long back.

However it was congress party which is majority in upper house is holding holding the bill.

Had they passed it earlier, this rapist wouldn't have got freedom today.

Modi has delivered what he should have. But its dongi party which has prioritised serving mother and son than people of the nation.

One should note that it is not the minister who directs the police personally. All he has done is delegate someone to take action. The actual people who took action are railway employees who are working for long term and were working under previous government also.
It is a question of providing them directions, which Mr. Prabhu has done. "Yatha Raja Thatha Praja".

Today you have over taken Pappu in making stupid statements.

For your kind information, when offender is sitting in front of you, messaging is the only safest mode to secretly intimate others that you're in trouble. If you make a phone call in front of offender either he might harm you or flee from the site.

When a court summons mother and son from royal family you call it political vendetta without even considering merits of the case.

However, when a common girls seeks help through tweeter and officials respond for her tweet, just because credit goes to NDA Govt of digitalisation, you call this incident stage managed and turn victim in to guilty.
