Mangalore, Aug 25:
Three persons were held for forging documents by Panambur police on Friday August 24 night.

The ingenious trio had forged the documents with the purpose of transporting charcoal illegally. The arrested have been identified as lorry owner Sharief, driver Nawaz and cleaner Rafiq.

They were arrested when the lorry was brought to the charcoal yard at Panambur.
When the manger of the company checked the documents, it was observed that the documents were forged.

The lorry and the forged documents have been seized from the arrested persons. Later it was also noticed that the documents did not make a mention about the transportation of the charcoal in the lorry.

Panambur police have registered a case in this regard.
