Mangalore, Aug 25: The Catholic Sabha, Mangalore Pradesh here has expressed its deep anguish over the denial of membership on the panel of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). The contention of the president of the Sabha, Mangalore Pradesh Sushil Noronha, is that while the government had given representation to all communities, only Christians have been left out of the elite panel, stated a press release here.

Noronha rued the fact that although for the past several decades the government had not failed to include atleast one member from the Christian community, but this time despite the appeal given to the chief minister and the governor, a Christian community member has been excluded from the  membership to the esteemed panel, Noronha pointed out.

According to him, the place of the Christian community member has now been taken up by KAS officials.
