Mangalore, Aug 24: History-sheeter Sunil Devadiga, more commonly known as 'Chewing Gum' Sunil, was arrested on Thursday August 23 morning by the Bajpe police sub inspector Ramesh Kumar, on a charge of carrying a lethal weapon and threatening the public at Gurpur Kaikamba near here.
Police sources said Sunil was going around in public flaunting a lethal weapon on Thursday at Kaikamba. He is said to have been involved in a few murder cases.
It was only recently that he had a secured a bail from the court and walked out. The police have produced him again in court.
