Congress committing sin by stalling parliament: Naqvi

New Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS): After the Rajya Sabha suffered repeated adjournments on Wednesday over the National Herald case, union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the Congress was giving political colour to a court matter and committing a sin by stalling parliament.

"The Congress is committing a sin of holding people's expectations as 'hostage' by stalling parliament giving a political colour to a court matter," Naqvi tweeted.

Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and her son and party vice president Rahul Gandhi have been summoned to appear before the court in the case.

He said the Congress "misused" every constitutional institution and government agency during its 10-year rule.

"The Congress is now politicising a court matter," he added.
