Russian Embassy car hits biker in Delhi


New Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS): A Russian Embassy's car hit a motorcycle rider and collided with a police barricade here early Wednesday, police said.

The accident took place around 1.30 a.m. in south Delhi's Moti Bagh area.

Police said the biker, identified as Naveen, was injured in the accident.

He was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Trauma Centre for first aid.

A police officer said the car belongs to the Russian Embassy.

"The diplomat was sitting inside the car when it collided with the biker and the police barricade," a police official said.
