New Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS): It was a foggy Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 12 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius.
"The sky will be cloudy throughout the day. Thundery development could occur during night in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
A shallow to moderate fog at many places here was observed, the weather office said, adding the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 98 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 26.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 12.0 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average of this time of the season.
