Modi wishes Punjab Chief Minister on birthday

New Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on his birthday.

"Birthday greetings to the veteran politician and Punjab Chief Minister Shri Parkash Singh Badal," the Prime Minister tweeted.

Badal, born on December 8, 1927, has been the chief minister of Punjab since 2007.

He previously served as chief minister from 1970 to 1971, from 1977 to 1980, and from 1997 to 2002.
