Bantwal, Aug 21: Bantwal Block Youth Congress organized a free health camp at Best English Medium School here, under the aegis of Fr Muller Medical College Hospital, Mangalore, as part of birth anniversary of former prime minister, the late Rajiv Gandhi on Monday August 20.

Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator of Fr Muller Medical College, inaugurated the camp and graced the occasion. 

Dr Ganesh Shenoy Panchamal, senior lecturer, Yenepoya Medical College, Dr Umanath Mallya of Wenlock Hospital and Ullal MLA U T Khader were the chief guests, present of the occasion.

Former minister B Ramanath Rai presided over the function.

Rajesh Shetty compered the programme. More than 2500 people participated in the camp and availed benefits.

Refreshments were served for the camp participants by the organizers, under the leadership of Bantwal Congress Committee president B Padmashekhar Jain.
