Rajnath seeks suggestions on 'intolerance'

New Delhi, Nov 30 (IANS): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said the government will seek suggestions from MPs on what they say is "growing intolerance" in the country.

"We would like to have suggestions on how to stop it, from members who think intolerance is growing," he said in the Lok Sabha, adding the government felt there was no such probelm.

The minister made the statement before Speaker Sumitra Mahajan allowed a debate under rule 193 on alleged intolerance.

He said the government view was that intolerance was not rising in India but he would accept suggestions from the members who felt otherwise.

The house then began discussing the issue.
The findings might be helpful for understanding and even changing the perception of natural rewards like those related to food or exercise, the authors concluded in the journal Cell Reports.
