Mangalore, Aug 18: The two courageous men, police inspector N Guru Prasad of armed force and Joss M C, constable of Lokayukta police station, are nominated for the bravery award for their outstanding performance.
They have served the department with their sincere work for the past 8 years, and hence they are eligible to receive this award.
Guru Prasad served as an active member; he also worked in controlling Naxalism (ANS) as well in the case of Veerappan (STF). He is basically from Tumkur district.
Joss M C served as the district criminal investigation bureau before taking the post of Lokayukta. He is from Jadkal near Kollur in Kundapur.
