Mangalore, Aug 18: St Aloysius College will play host and conduct the Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) entrance test ‘OPENMAT’ for MBA degree, for all those aspirants who had selected the city as the centre.

In a press release from the IGNOU, its co-ordinator Fr Denzil Lobo here stated that owing to a technical fault, candidates who had opted for Mangalore Centre (1302) in OPENMAT Entrance Test received hall tickets directing students to appear for the test at Bangalore (Code 1309).

However, on realizing its mistake IGNOU headquarters in New Delhi directed its study centre at St Aloysius College to take necessary corrective measures. And thereafter issued the following in its press statement - ‘‘This is to inform all candidates that they need not travel to Bangalore for the test".
