Mangalore, Aug 17: Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology (MIFT) will organize Fashion Flash- 07, an inter-collegiate "Fashion Show" competition at Town Hall here on Friday August 24 at 5 pm, said  Kasturi Shetty principal in press conference here on Friday August 17.
 
The competition will be inaugurated by Eric Ozario president of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, and chaired by Dr Shivacharan, director of Namma TV. MG Hegde director of MIFT will be the chief guest.
 
The competition will high light tradition and legacy of India, she informed. The native will be given prominence, that which displays the tradition and culture of different counties. The Native will be the criterion in the selection of the dress, and competition, he added.
 
Vedesh Rao faculty, Robin Sequeira, president of Student Union, Ambika Rao, secretary and Prithvi Raj, union member of MIFT College were present in the press conference.
