Bangalore, Aug 12: REWABE joined hands with Rotary Club of Downtown Bangalore to celebrate Diamond Independence day with Flag hoisting at 'Milton Park', Cooke Town, here.

Suleiman Sait, a senior advocate was the chief guest of the day. Ramesh, president of REWABE, welcomed the gathering.

Raka, an employee of BWSSB was felicitated with a memento and shawl. Raka is so committed and duty oriented that he is serving in BWSSB for the past 36 years without absenting himself even a single day. It is unimaginable that he reported to duty even on his wedding day.

The children of Mariam Nivas School entertained the audience with patriotic songs. This was followed by tree plantation in the park and breakfast.
