Man killed in Kashmir road accident

Srinagar, Nov 23 (IANS): A man was killed and three others injured on Monday in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, apparently due to thick fog, police said.

His vehicle collided with a cement mixer at Mirgund in Baramulla district on the Srinagar-Muzaffarbad highway.

"Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, son of Ali Muhammad, died on the spot and three others were injured," a police official told IANS here.

Dense fog blanketed most parts of the Kashmir Valley on Monday morning, causing inconvenience to motorists and commuters due to low visibility.
