Five killed in Myanmar blast


Nay Pyi Taw, Nov 23 (IANS): At least five people were killed and seven others were injured in a bomb explosion inside a house in Hakha, the capital of Myanmar's Chin state, official said on Monday.

The bomb blast took place on Sunday night at 10.40 p.m. (local time), Xinhua reported.

Security has been tightened around the area and investigation is underway, authorities said.

Chin State Chief Minister U Hone Ngaing inspected the scene, the official added.
