Mangalore, Aug 15: The 60th Independence Day celebration was celebrated with a great pleasure by Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family School and Sacred Heart Higher Primary school in the School premises at Suratkal near here at 8.30 am on Wednesday August 15.
On this occasion Sacred Heart Church’s website www.surathkalchurch.com was inaugurated by Fr Denzil Lobo.
This website contains the history and details of day-to-day activities of all the associations belonging to the church.
Fr Denzil Lobo, the chief guest hoisted the flag and launched the website. Fr J B D’Souza presided over the celebration and imparted the message.
Anita D’Souza welcomed the gathering and Stella Machado proposed vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Jane Anita D’Souza. There was an attractive mass drill by the students of both the Schools.
