Mangalore, Aug 15: A plywood factory in Baikamapady industrial area was gutted in a sudden fire on Tuesday August 14 evening.

Sources said that, the fire was fnoticed in the unit aroung  7.30 pm. The loss in the mishap has been placed at Rs 2 lac.
 
The fiire brigade immediately rushed to the spot upon getting the message. Four fire tenders fought the fire for hours to bring it under control, sources added.

No human injury has been reported.
