Kundapur, Aug 14: A person died when an iron ore-laden lorry rolled into a river at Sankadagundi bridge near Shirur chech post on Tuesday August 14 evening.
The name of the deceased person is not yet known. Sources said that the lorry first hit the edge of the bridge and later rolled into the river. The lorry was proceeding from Bellary to Mangalore.
Byndoor police have rushed the spot and initiated efforts to trace the identity of the deceased.
