Modi holds bilateral meet with Spanish prime minister


Antalya (Turkey), Nov 16 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held a bilateral meeting with his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy on the sidelines of the second and final day of the G20 Summit in this Mediterranean resort city.

“Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy of Spain @narendramodi hold talks on the sidelines of @G20Tuekey2015,” PMO India tweeted.

“More Mediterranean engagements with PM @narendramodi meeting @marianorajoy of Spain.” Vikas Swarup, spokesperson of the external affairs ministry, tweeted.

Earlier on Monday, Modi held a bilateral meeting with Turkish President and host of the 2015 G20 Summit, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

On Sunday, Modi held a bilateral meeting with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull during which all procedures of the civil nuclear agreement signed between India and Australia were completed.

He also met European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Sunday.
