Himachal governor, CM greet people on Bhai Dooj

Shimla, Nov 13 (IANS): Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Friday felicitated the people of the state on Bhai Dooj.

Devvrat in his message said the festival not only strengthens the bond of brotherhood but also plays a significant role in creating a cordial atmosphere in the society.

Virbhadra Singh said Bhai Dooj symbolises the love and affection between brothers and sisters. He expressed hope that it would strengthen the bond of brotherhood.

Besides, it was announced that women would be provided free rides on ordinary buses run by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation on Bhai Dooj.
