1. Competition in Handwriting: An inter collegiate handwriting competition for degree students of Mangalore University  in English, Hindi and Kannada languages will be conducted by the literary association of Besant Evening College with an aim to re-orient their interest on these skills.

2. Talk on ‘Role of HR Professionals’: A special lecture session on ‘Role of Human Resource Professionals’ in IT industry will be organized by the Mangalore chapter of the National Institute of Personnel Management in association with Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management at SDM College at 6.15 pm.

3. Refresher Course: A two- day refresher course on HR facilitator as ‘Servant Leader’ will be organized by College for Leadership and Human Resource Development (CLHRD) - Read separate headline also.

4. Power Supply Disruption: Power supply will be disrupted, owing to emergency works in 110 KV sub station, in Gurpur, Kaikamba Pete, Kandavar, Adyapady, Addoor, Ganjmath, Kuppepadavu, Kelinjaru village, Yedapadavu, Kompadavu, Mooduperar, Malali and surrounding places.

5. Seminar on HIV/AIDS: A district-level seminar on HIV/AIDS, organized by the Directorate of Field Publicity in association with the Bantwal Panchayat, Health and Family Welfare Department, Jana Shikshna Trust among others, will be inaugurated by Vittal MLA K Padmanabha Kottari at the SGRY Hall.

6. Senior Citizens with ID Cards: Identity cards for senior citizens will be issued by the Mangalore Senior Citizens Association and Lions Club Mangalore at Lions Seva Mandir, Mallikatte here at 5 pm.
