Puttur, Aug 11: The Kadaba police have seized an unlicensed arm and they have arrested 2 persons in this connection here, on Friday August 10.

The arrested persons have been identified as Perappa Gowda (37) of Bolnadka and Ramesh (30) of Chidgal in Kombar village. Perappa Gowda is working in Karnataka Forest Development Corporation, as a rubber-tapper and Ramesh is running a hotel in Bolnadka.

Receiving a tip-off from an informer, Kadaba police raided Perappa Gowda’s house on Friday. On repeated and severe interrogation of Perappa Gowda, he revealed that the arms recovered, was connected to one Ramesh. Armed with this information the police later arrested Ramesh.

 Puttur rural circle inspector Ravish, Kadaba sub inspector Nandakumar and police constables Kushalappa Gowda Charvaka and K T Jayaram participated in the raid.
