Mangalore, Aug 10: BJP Yuva Morcha Ullal Constituency will be celebrating 150th anniversary of Great Revolt of 1857 on Tuesday August 14 at their Thokkottu office at 10 p m. Flag hoisting and mega convention will be held as part of the programme, said Mayur Ullal, BJP Yuva Morcha president at a press conference here on Thursday August 9.
The key speech will be delivered by Cap Ganesh Karnik, MLC, and eminent personalities of Ullal. Monappa Bhandary would be present in the function.
It is the high time to remember the martyrs and freedom fighters who actively took part in the freedom struggle. In this regard every Indian should remember the people who sacrificed their lives in the great revolt of 1857 which paved the way to the freedom struggle which reached the vantage point in 1947, he added.
