Udupi, Aug 9: The train services of Konkan Railway that were cancelled owing to landslide at Kanakona in Goa on Wednesday, August 8 were restored on Thursday August 9.

Netravathi, Gujarat and Mangala Express trains passed through Udupi railway station on Wednesday, August 8 while the services of Matsyagandha express was cancelled.   Around 400 people traveled by buses due to the cancellation of train service.  Few passengers postponed their journey while few of them collected refunds of their train fare.  Mangalore – Varna passenger train services too were being cancelled on Thursday August 9.
