Mangalore, Aug 9: An affiliate of Mangalore University, Sandesha Lalitkala Mahavidyalaya will soon to presenting a workshop on Bharatanatyam on August 11 and 12, 2007 stated their release.

The workshop ‘Nrittaaloka’ is a state level project on Bharatanatyam being conducted in honour of Guru Katilaka Ullal Mohan Kumar. The workshop will be inaugurated by renowned Bharatanatyam teacher Muralidhar Rao. The function will be presided over by Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, president of the DK Kannada Sahitya Parishad.

Renowned artiste of Kalakshetra Chennai and ‘Ustad Bismillah Khan’ Yuva Puraskar awardee Sheejith Krishna will be the resource person on the occasion, who will also offer felicitations to Kalatika Ullal Mohan Kumar of Natya Niketan. Prabhakar Joshi will be the chief guest at the function. The workshop will be blessed by Rev Fr Francis Lewis, the director of Sandesha. The programme co-ordinator is Vani Rajgopal.
