Mangalore, Aug 7: The 41st Annual General body Meeting (AGM) of St Christopher Auto Rickshaw Owners' and Drivers' Association was held at Rosario Cathedral Church premises here on Sunday August 5. Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza who presided over the celebration blessed hundreds of two-wheelers and auto rickshaws on the occasion.

Bishop Fr Aloysius Paul D’Souza also felicitated vicar general of the diocese Msgr Dennis Moras Prabhu, during the celebration .  

Speaking on the occasion Bishop said that the Association has over 1500 members who are provided with identity cards and identity passes for their auto rickshaws which would improve relations among the members.  Moreover, he appealed them to earn their honest living besides striving to make the association a significant one in the region.

Fr Dennis Moras Prabhu expressed gratitude for the felicitation.  St Aloysius PU College principal Fr John Edward D’Silva was the chief guest present.  Talented students were honoured on the same occasion.

Association president Susheel Noronha welcomed the gathering.  Secretary Victor Menezes presented the report.  Vice-president Gerald D’Souza compered the programme.
