Mangalore, Aug 7:
‘Pratibha Puraskar,’ a programme to honour the students who scored highest marks in class VII and class X catechism exam and SSLC and PUC board exams was held at Immaculate Conception Church Hall on Sunday August 5.
 
Fr Alfred Pinto, parish priest and spiritual director of Catholic Sabha, Fr Anil D'Silva, assistant parish priest, Jessy D’Souza, teacher of Little Flower School and Annette Lobo, headmistress of St Mary's higher primary school were the chief guests.

Jessy D’Souza congratulating the children adviced them to give first place to God, second place to others and third place to themselves in their life. She gave example of famous heart surgeon Dr Devi Shetty and how he achieved success in his career.

The students were felicitated by giving memento and certificates.

Robert Fernandes, president of Catholic Sabha welcomed the gathering. Hilda D'Costa proposed vote of thanks. Edwin D'Mello introduced the students who secured highest marks. Ivy Aranha compered the programme. A total of 31 students were honoured on this occasion.
