Guerrillas fire at security forces in Kashmir


Srinagar, Oct 28 (IANS): A patrol party of the security forces was fired upon by suspected guerrillas in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Wednesday.

"A patrol party of the security forces was fired upon by suspected militants in Buthoo village today (Wednesday) evening," a senior police officer told IANS here.

"Reinforcements have been rushed to the spot and the area has been cordoned off," the official added.
