Bangalore, Aug 3: Anil Peter Rego was elected as the president of the Konkan Catholic Association during its 40th AGM which was held at Konkan Bhavan, here on July 22. 

Antony Gonsalves was elected as the vice-president while Vincent Mascarenhas was elected as the secretary and Robert Dias was elected as the treasurer.
 
Konkan Catholic Association has been rendering yeomen's service from the past 40 years by providing free hostel accommodation to many needy boys who come to the city in search of a Job. Recently KCA celebrated 40th anniversary at Chowdaiya Memorial Hall. KCA will be soon launching scholarship schemes to benefit the poor.
