Mangalore, Aug 3: Laptops worth Rs 3.20 lac have been stolen in two separate cases reported in the city here on Wednesday August 1.

According to the sources the thieves entered the Acer Mall at Essel towers near Bunts Hostel and broke open the shutter lock and took away five Acer laptops worth Rs 1.70 lac.

Sudhir Pai regional manager of the institute has lodged a complaint to the police.

In another incident thieves entered the Binary Computers at Mahindra Arcade in Karangalpady, here.

Similarly, here too the laptops have been stolen by breaking the shutter lock. Three laptops of Lenovo Company have been stolen and the loss is estimated at Rs 1.50 lac, manager Jayaprakash Shetty said to the Kadri Police.

Police have registered cases in this regard.
