Gold down on stronger dollar

Chicago, Oct 17 (IANS): Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell on Friday as the US dollar showed strength.

The most active gold contract for December delivery fell $4.4, or 0.37 percent, to settle at $1,183.10 per ounce, reported Xinhua.
