Mangalore, Jul 30: Karnataka Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences University and Mangalore Fisheries College in association with National Fisheries Development Board will organize a ten-day training programme on fish and fresh water shrimp cultivation at Javahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mudipu, here from Monday, July 30 stated a press note.

R N Shrinivas Gowda vice-chancellor of Karnataka Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences University will inaugurate the programme. MP D V Sadananda Gowda will be the chief guest.

K M Kaveriappa vice-chancellor of Mangalore University will preside over the function. Those interested will be given training on the subject, in the course of the programme, added the press note.
