Mangalore, Jul 27: A national workshop on “Innovative applications of Nursing process” which is being held on 27th and 28th of July under the aegis of the Sahyadri Institute of Health Sciences was inaugurated on Friday July 27 morning.

Brief introduction on Sahyadri Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS): SIHS is a premier Institute of nursing education. This  Institute was started in the year 2002 and is a unit of Bhandary foundation which has been in the forefront of service to society by sponsoring educational institutions, undertaking social work, promoting extracurricular activities and creating health awareness through seminars and workshops.  

The objective of the workshop was duly enumerated. The participants at the workshop will apply the innovative knowledge of nursing process they have learnt, in educational and clinical field. They will integrate these ideas and inter-relate nursing process with nursing theory and innovative learning process.

Participants will also contribute to further development of innovative application of the nursing process. The core target group for the workshop will be the principals of nursing institutes, post graduate and under graduate teachers in nursing, P G students of nursing and clinical supervisors.
