Udupi, Jul 27: Income tax officials of Mumbai raided the offices and house of the owner of Sai Radha Group with the help of the Mangalore and Udupi Income tax officials at 8 am here, on Thursday July 26.
According to informed sources the raid was conducted simultaneously at all the places. The income tax officials are still in the process of finding out all the details. During the course of the raid, several important documents were seized.
Similar raid was also conducted at a residence in Kapu, and at a medical store in Udupi and a super bazar. The sources said that in all about 8 places in the city and 7 places in Mumbai the raids were carried out but the officials refused to give details at this stage since the raids were likely to continue on Friday, July 27 also.
