Mangalore, July 26: Samskara Bharathi will felicitate four eminent personalities who have dedicated themselves to art and social service on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Sunday July 29, said Kumble Sunder Rao, state president of Samskara Bharathi at the press conference here on Friday July 26.
 
The four personalities are L Sridhar Bhat and Vasudev R Shenoy for social service, J Seetharama Shetty for drama and Mayippadi Kunhi Rama will be felicitated at their homes, added the state president.
 
Briefing the significance of the Guru Poornima, Rao said that day has been dedicated to remember Vyasa Maharshi who is the guiding light of the persons who led India in a right way.
 
Samskara Bharathi would spread awareness in all schools and colleges about the life and principals of the freedom fighters of India so as to make the future generation of India responsible, said Chakravarthi Thirumogan, secretary of Samskara Bharathi at the south India level addressing the press persons.
 
The notable personalities from the various fields including Kumble Sunder Rao and Suresh Raj, district president of Samskara Bharathi will felicitate and witness the felicitation, stated a press note 
 
Briefing about the functions of Samskara Bharathi, the president said that Samskara Bharathi is a non-political, non-religious organization. This is dedicated exclusively to the field of art, he added.
 
Suresh Raj, district president of Samskara Bharathi, Chandra Shekar Shetty division convener of Samskara Bharathi, Sujir Vinod, treasurer of Samskara Bharathi and Sharath Kumar Kadri, secretary were present at the press meet.
