Sullia, Jul 24: The local court remanded to judicial custody a teenaged boy for outraging the modesty of a seven-year-old girl.
Shashi Kumar (17), son of Ramalingam, a resident of Kootelu Tamil colony in the jurisdiction of Amarapadnoor, has been sent to judicial custody.
He had absconded after indulging in the act after taking her to a nearby plantation. He was arrested from his relative’s house in Narkodu.
He was produced before the Juvenile court where he was awarded judicial custody.
