Asus launches first Windows 10 laptop


New Delhi, Oct 5 (IANS): Taiwanese electronics giant Asus on Monday launched its first Windows 10 powered laptop - ZenBook UX305LA - priced at Rs.97,990, ahead of the upcoming festive season.

The device, which will be available in three colours, will come with a 13.3-inch quad-HD display, 8 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage. Consumers will have options of choosing between a Core M, Core i5 or a Core i7 processor.

"The new laptop is a perfect balance of great looks and functionality which delivers a powerful performance with the Windows 10 combination. The Indian consumers are increasingly moving towards ultraportable products and the featherweight ZenBook UX305LA is a real performer that redefines this segment with its svelte design," said Asus India managing director Peter Chang.

"It is one of the most affordable products in this category and we truly believe that it deserves a top spot in the festive shopping list of the Indian consumers," he added.

The company also said that they have integrated new technologies to make the display better and provide better heat management on the device.
